Australia Council partnerships

In 2006 Regional Arts Australia established a strategic partnership with the Australia Council for the Arts.

This partnership has assisted Regional Arts Australia to put in place a national communications strategy and to expand the scope of the artistic program at its biennial national conferences. The profile of the arts in regional Australia has been broadened through exciting new publications, we have established a national Regional Arts Australia volunteer recognition award and developed new partnerships which has led to the establishment of programs such as the ABC’s ‘Artpost’ program.

The current partnership concludes in 2010 and Regional Arts Australia will be providing new ideas for the future to ensure that this important national initiative continues.
