25-Jan-2010 JUMP is the first program of its kind to support young artists anywhere in Australia to work with industry leaders across a wide range of artforms.
Thirty six mentorship places of up to 10 months each are available this year for artists aged 18 – 30 and in the first five years of their career. More mentorships are available in 2011 and 2012.

25-Jan-2010 Arts Minister Peter Garrett is calling on musicians to apply for Contemporary Music Touring Program funding so they can take their music to the regions.
Bands have until 5 February 2010 to apply under the current round.
11-Jan-2010 Festivals Australia is an Australian Government funding program designed to assist the presentation of arts and cultural activities at Australian regional and community festivals. The emphasis is on supporting new projects, which add to the quality and diversity of the arts and cultural programming of regular regional and community festivals.
The next funding round closes on 15 February 2010, for projects beginning after 1 July 2010.
