Call for stories for new Arts and Health book

Regional Arts Australia and the National Rural Health Alliance are working together to produce a book that highlights stories about arts and health projects from regional Australia.

It will build on the success of our earlier publications of great arts stories, including Big Story Country (2008) providing a permanent reminder of the powerful role of the arts in the heart of regional Australia.

At least 4,000 copies of this new volume will be distributed across Australia to government, media, arts and health leaders and workers and the general public.  It will be a way of sharing our stories with Australians everywhere.

For this book to be a success, we need your help.  We need your stories.  We need your photographs.  We want this book to be visually beautiful with strong lively stories backed up by stunning images and a sound evidence-base.

The call for stories is now open and closes Wednesday 4 August 2010.
